Maybean Happenings

LJ Update: 6 months on Sunday, March 16!
-17lbs.
-6 month doctor's apt. next week and I'll have a length update:)
-started baby food...He began with sweet potatoes and that led to lots of laughter and funny faces. We've headed back to cereal to help him with consistency. I'm feeling the need to crack back open the baby books to make sure I'm doing things correctly b/c I've been told that I should've done a thousand things different. Cracking open the books will make me either feel better about the decisions thus far or give me better options for the upcoming months. He's growing so I'm not worried about starving him! I have a video for his first several bites of food which I'll post eventually (you all know that means about 2-3months;))

House Update:
-Lots of visitors, but no bites yet. We're not stressed as keeping the house spotless has been good for Tim and I! Less Stress!(well it creates less stress, cleaning it is not so fun!)

Revolution Update:
-Easter Egg Drop: So we figured we'd get a few thousand kids...Umm, that's the understatement of the year. How about 5,000 people by 9:30 (we dropped eggs at 11ish). At the end the police chief said that we had 10-12,000 people with 2500-3000 stuck on the interstate that couldn't get into the park. It was just a little chaotic. The great thing is that our volunteers totally rocked and took everything in stride...they withstood getting cussed at, slapped (not joking) and trampled (yes...by tons of little kids...and probably a few parents). Will we do it again? Word is, yeah, but we'll be dropping 250,000 eggs. Oh yeah, Tim was in the helicopter so I'll have pictures of that up too (for now you can check out some pictures our friends took here. Needless to say, he was strapped in (trust me, Tim and I had a good conversation beforehand about safety and how LJ needs his dad! The event was crazy and yeah, I'll say a success as amazingly we had people show up to church today who were first introduced to us at the Egg Drop. We'll find out later this week how many others actually came from the Egg Drop...

Easter: We had 1400 at church today which was awesome! We began a new series called: RockStar: Making Him Famous. It was phenomenal. We built out the stage so there was a catwalk into the crowd. I'm going to try and get pictures up of this b/c it looked like a rock concert. This series was a follow-up to our One series which talked about why Revolution exists and why God put us on earth: To help others who don't know Christ find out that He loves them and wants to have a relationship with him. We talked about the purpose of the church and how you don't have to be a bible thumper to talk to others about Christ...anyways, it was a powerful several weeks and with Easter as the kick-off for RockStar it was a great time for everyone to invite friends and family to church.
